Emma Gutierrez

Emma is a feminist, revolutionary, and computer scientist. After work, and when she is not taking care of her child, she draws. Emma makes podcasts for the French radio station France Culture, and her comics have been published in the Guardian and L’Express. She is interested in the small stories of everyday life and follows current events. She places these seemingly small stories in a larger context and turns them into comics to illustrate their political significance in the truest sense of the word.

In the meantime, Emma has nearly 400,000 followers on Facebook, and her comics have been shared over 215,000 times.
